If you\u2019re looking for the perfect one-day ride from Prague, this loop is a guaranteed winner. The route connects two royal castles Karl\u0161tejn and K\u0159ivokl\u00e1t and winds through the Beroun region, a landscape made for motorcycles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prague \u2013 Velk\u00e1 Amerika \u2013 Karl\u0161tejn<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Head southwest from Prague and get onto secondary roads as soon as possible. Before reaching Karl\u0161tejn, make a short stop at Velk\u00e1 Amerika (Great America)<\/strong>, often called the \u201cCzech Grand Canyon.\u201d<\/strong>This limestone quarry is about 800 meters long, 200 meters wide, and up to 100 meters deep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After enjoying the view, continue to Karl\u0161tejn, one of the most important castles in the Czechia. If you have time, it\u2019s worth a visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Karl\u0161tejn \u2013 Beroun \u2013 Ni\u017ebor: roads that delight<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

From Karl\u0161tejn, continue through Srbsko toward Beroun. Here begins one of the most enjoyable biker stretches near Prague. Skim past Beroun and head to Ni\u017ebor. Above the village stands a Baroque chateau with a Celtic exhibition at the Stradonice oppidum. Across the Berounka River, the R\u00fcckl glassworks is worth a look, famous for producing the crystal \u010cesk\u00fd lev statuette.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

K\u0159ivokl\u00e1tsko: forests, calm, and biker bliss<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

From Ni\u017ebor, continue toward Roztoky u K\u0159ivokl\u00e1tu. K\u0159ivokl\u00e1t Castle<\/strong> is one of the oldest royal castles in the country. For tech enthusiasts, directly below the castle in the former Sokol hall is the Motorcycle Museum<\/strong> , featuring a collection of Jawa and \u010cZ touring bikes. A stop that perfectly completes this ride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Return: Berounsko from a new perspective<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

On the way back to Prague, enjoy a few short stops. In H\u00fdskov, sample the famous local ice cream and ride past the birthplace of writer Franti\u0161ek Nepil. A short detour to Tet\u00edn<\/strong>, a legendary site where Princess Ludmila died, is also worthwhile. The viewpoints above the Berounka River make a beautiful finale to the day in the saddle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
