Sandstone rock cities, castles perched on conical hills, folk architecture, and roads that don\u2019t force you to ride fast but to ride consciously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\">Mnichovo Hradi\u0161t\u011b: the perfect starting point<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Begin your ride in Mnichovo Hradi\u0161t\u011b. The Baroque castle, once visited by Giacomo Casanova, is a fitting introduction to a region steeped in history. From here, take road 268 toward Bose\u0148 and pass under the ruins of Vale\u010dov Castle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kost and Sobotka: the heart of the region<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Kn\u011b\u017emost, turn onto a local road through the village of Srbsko, leading to one of the best-preserved Gothic castles in the country <strong>Kost Castle<\/strong>. Even a short stop here is worth it for the atmosphere alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Continue through Sobotka. Above the town rises the hunting lodge <strong>Humprecht<\/strong>, a striking landmark of the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Trosky and Hrub\u00e1 Sk\u00e1la: symbols of Bohemian Paradise<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Take road 281 through \u00dajezd pod Troskami to Troskovice. <strong>Trosky Castle<\/strong> , with its twin towers Baba and Panna, is an iconic sight visible from afar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just a short ride away is <strong>Hrub\u00e1 Sk\u00e1la Castle<\/strong> and the sandstone rock town below it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\">Koz\u00e1kov: a view worth the climb<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through Karlovice, Volavec, and Lestkov, reach the foot of <strong>Koz\u00e1kov<\/strong>, the highest point in Bohemian Paradise. If you have time, ride up to the top. The panoramic view is breathtaking: the Krkono\u0161e, Jizera mountains, Central Bohemian Uplands, and Orlick\u00e9 mountains spread out before you. The local caves hide the largest underground lake in the Czech Republic, a fascinating addition to your ride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The return route along the <strong>Jizera<\/strong> river is among the calmest and most beautiful. Pass through \u017delezn\u00fd Brod, Mal\u00e1 Sk\u00e1la with Vranov Castle, Turnov, and Dlask\u2019s Farm in Dol\u00e1nky. Classic Pojize\u0159\u00ed scenery, where you can ride slowly and enjoy every moment.
